Cade Kendall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Drew Blevins was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
