Mason Labuda made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs and four RBI.
In other pitching news, Matt Wilson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Dom Beck was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with seven RBI and two runs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 3.5 RBI per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Flor, who scored five runs while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.
Boiling Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
