Northern Nash is 9-1 against Rocky Mount since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Knights will square off against the Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. Northern Nash's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Northern Nash will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Southern Nash, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights beat the Firebirds by a goal, winning 3-2.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Hunt, falling 6-2. While losing is never fun, Rocky Mount can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 495th, while Hunt are ranked 236th).

Rocky Mount's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Northern Nash, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-2.

Everything went Northern Nash's way against Rocky Mount in their previous meeting on October 6th, as Northern Nash made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
