Western Branch has won three straight games at home, while Greenbrier Christian Academy has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Bruins will host the Gators at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Western Branch 2.5, Greenbrier Christian Academy 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Thursday, Western Branch needed a bit of extra time to put away Lakeland. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers, sneaking past 5-4.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier Christian Academy got themselves on the board against StoneBridge on Tuesday, but StoneBridge never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Cavaliers. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Jon Cullipher looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Western Branch hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .398. However, it's not like Greenbrier Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
