The Sneads Pirates entered their tilt with the Ponce De Leon Pirates with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sneads blew past Ponce De Leon 59-38. Given Sneads' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Ponce De Leon is ranked 301st), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sneads to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Patterson, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Nykavian Bradley was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 4 steals.
Sneads' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ponce De Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Sneads will head out on the road to face off against Graceville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Graceville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Friday. As for Ponce De Leon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Holmes County at 7:00 p.m.
