The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwest Christian in their matchups with Fountain Hills: they've now lost seven in a row.
Keaton Ort continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fountain Hills, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ort has scored all season. Lucas Grieco was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Northwest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Fountain Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Northwest Christian will head out on the road to square off against Wickenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fountain Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bourgade Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bourgade Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Fountain Hills is ranked 94th).
