Mater Dei's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Roxana has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mater Dei, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Roxana keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Roxana was able to grind out a solid victory over Mater Dei in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 4-1. Will the Shells repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
