Wayne County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Justice Bell, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Shamer, who scored eight points along with eight steals.
Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Hughes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
