Calvin Peterson went supernova for Roosevelt, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 1 assists. The match was Peterson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kieran Quinlan, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Roosevelt now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Washington Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Roosevelt will head out on the road to face off against Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Washburn has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 276 points over their last four games. Washington Tech will be home for the holidays to greet Twin Cities Academy/Great River on Wednesday.
