After two games on the road, Woodland Hills is heading back home. They will take on the Roosevelt Roughriders at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Woodland Hills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 233rd in Pennsylvania, while Roosevelt is ranked ninth in District of Columbia).
Last Friday, Woodland Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-44 to Fox Chapel.
Meanwhile, even though New Town scored an imposing 61 points on Saturday, Roosevelt still came out on top. Roosevelt managed a 67-61 victory over New Town. The victory was just what Roosevelt needed coming off of a 75-31 loss in their prior matchup.
Woodland Hills has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
