Softball Recap: Sodus Wins Going Away Against East Rochester

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Sodus and East Rochester have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 22-4 margin over the Bombers. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Sodus' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for East Rochester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sodus will take on Williamson at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Marauders at the right time seeing as the Marauders are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for East Rochester, they will face off against Lyons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bombers surely won't give up without a fight.
