Martinsville can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Apple Springs on the road to the tune of 75-45. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Martinsville had established a 28 point advantage.
Slocum fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Centerville 71-35 at home. With Slocum ahead 35-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Martinsville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Slocum, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-19.
Martinsville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Slocum in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 36-30 win.
