After losing to Fordyce the last time they met, Poyen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Poyen Indians managed a 53-47 win over the Fordyce Redbugs on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Poyen is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Fordyce, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Coincidentally, Poyen and Fordyce will both be playing Hampton the next time they take the court. Fordyce will host Hampton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Poyen will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
