The Regis Jesuit Raiders will face off against the Heritage Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Regis Jesuit's victory against Rock Canyon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Jaguars 15-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since April 15th.
Regis Jesuit got a great performance from Finn Judge as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jacob Olson, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Alpert, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.
Regis Jesuit was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in 14 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Heritage had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Huskies 6-4.
James Kellogg was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Heritage is 5-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-9-1 otherwise. Kellogg was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run.
In other batting news, James Long was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
Regis Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 11-10-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Regis Jesuit hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.3 home runs per game. However, it's not like Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Regis Jesuit's way against Heritage in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Regis Jesuit made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
