The Coventry Comets's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on Ravenna with a sharp 36-13 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Coventry has managed all season.
Aunna Coteat had an outrageously good game as she scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Burkhart, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Coventry's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Ravenna, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Springfield the next time they take the court. Coventry will head out to face Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Ravenna will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
