If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Banks. On Friday they will take on Molalla at 7:00 PM. Banks are coming into the game hot, having won six in a row.
Banks scored well below their previous average of 44.67 points per game last Friday, but luckily it didn't cost them. They skirted past Seaside 10-7. Junior Martial Stegemeir was the offensive standout of the match for Banks, as he rushed for 80 yards and 1 touchdown. Stegemeir has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Molalla, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They came up short against Astoria, falling 12-21.
Banks took the match and then some with a 62-15 win over Molalla the last time the two teams met. Will Banks repeat their success, or does Molalla have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
