The Albany Falcons will be playing at home against the Amsterdam Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New York (Albany is ranked 180th, while Amsterdam is ranked 198th).
Last Friday, Albany ended up a good deal behind Niskayuna and lost 71-52. Albany has not had much luck with Niskayuna recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Amsterdam was able to grind out a solid victory over Mohonasen on Thursday, taking the game 56-48.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Amsterdam to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aundray Fowler, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Natale, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Amsterdam's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Chris Tilley got a bit more time on the court (ten vs. his season average of 2.85). Tilley made the most of the opportunity, scoring six points. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Albany now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Amsterdam, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
