On Saturday, Westview beat Gretna 62-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Westview.
Westview found their leader in underclassman Stella Williams, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ross, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Westview's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Gretna, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Westview will head out on the road to challenge Gretna East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gretna, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Papillion-LaVista South at 5:30 p.m. Papillion-LaVista South is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
