While it was all tied up 30-30 at halftime, Davis Sr. was not quite Franklin's equal in the second half on Wednesday. Davis Sr. lost to Franklin on the road by a decisive 62-48 margin. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jadyn Coaker, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Barker, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Davis Sr. struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Cosumnes Oaks played against Sheldon and lost via forfeit.
Davis Sr.'s defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-13. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
