Hanover Central lost a heartbreaker the last time they played New Prairie, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's match. The Wildcats blew past the Cougars 15-4 on Saturday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Morgan Township suffered their closest loss since April 25th on Saturday. They fell just short of Mishawaka by a score of 7-5.
Jett Gheaja was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April.
At the plate, Cal Lemmons and Clint Lemmons did some serious damage despite the final result: Cal went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Clint went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run was Clint's first of the season.
Hanover Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Morgan Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Hanover Central hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Morgan Township struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
