In what's become a running theme this season, the Northumberland Indians gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rappahannock 73-39 at home. Winning may never get old, but Northumberland sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Northumberland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyreek Lundy, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Lundy is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was MJ Laws, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Northumberland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Rappahannock, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
