In what's become a running theme this season, the Middleton Vikings gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kuna 57-28 on the road. Middleton is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 14 straight.
Middleton was led to victory by Zoey Blackwell and Olivia Blackwell. Blackwell scored nine points along with five steals, while Blackwell scored 13 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackwell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Robynn Flowers, who scored five points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Middleton pushed their record up to 17-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Kuna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Middleton will be playing at home against Meridian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meridian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Middleton is ranked ninth). As for Kuna, they will head out on the road to square off against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain View is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
