Dante Carr Turns in Season-Best Effort
Minersville was led to victory by Dante Carr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Carr rushed for 207 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
For the season, Carr has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 194.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had nine passing touchdowns.

Niko Carestia was instrumental in extending Schuylkill Haven's winning streak to seven on Friday. Carestia was dynamite, rushing for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Carestia might just drop another big game when he faces off against Nativity BVM on Saturday. When Carestia last faced the Green Wave back in September of 2023, he rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns.

Shomper Came Up Big in Williams Valley's 33-0 Victory
Brady Shomper was a major factor in Williams Valley's win over Marian Catholic on Friday. Shomper did his part (and then some), throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 49 yards for the 'W'.
Williams Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Shomper and Williams Valley will welcome Shenandoah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Colton Reber Delivers Electric Performance Vs Pine Grove
Schuylkill Haven picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colton Reber. Reber turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Reber has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 94.1 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.

Parker Hatter Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Parker Hatter of Tri-Valley. Hatter picked up 54 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.
The win was the third in a row for Tri-Valley, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Hatter and Tri-Valley will welcome Minersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
