Meanwhile, Millikan's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They blew past Mission Viejo 9-0. Considering the Rams have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. JSerra Catholic has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Millikan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
