After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Highland Park, Ennis was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Kaufman Lions  a   4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Ennis needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
They hit Kaufman with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Lizander Carreon,  Diego Garza,  Sebastian Hernandez,  and  David Triana.
Ennis' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Kaufman,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Ennis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next  matchup,  a  1-1  draw against Crandall on the 24th. Kaufman has also  already played their next contest,  a  6-1  defeat against Midlothian Heritage on the 24th.
