The Umatilla Bulldogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans at 8:30  p.m.  on December 29th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard  on Friday.
 On Thursday, Umatilla beat Jefferson 70-63. Given Umatilla's advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 219th, while Jefferson is ranked 486th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Herly Brutus continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and ten  rebounds. The  contest was  his eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Henry Clendinen, who  scored 12 points.
 Meanwhile, Greater Atlanta Christian had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They blew past Keswick Christian 70-25 on the road. That looming  70-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Greater Atlanta Christian yet this  season.
 Umatilla has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
