Elite Scholars Academy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Atlanta International with a sharp 63-37 victory. The victory was just what Elite Scholars Academy needed coming off of a 87-67 defeat in their prior match.
Elite Scholars Academy found their leader in underclassman Jerel Clark, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Okafor, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, McNair came up short against Mt. Zion on Saturday and fell 67-57.
Elite Scholars Academy's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12. As for McNair, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
Elite Scholars Academy couldn't quite finish off McNair when the teams last played back in January of 2023 and fell 57-54. Thankfully for Elite Scholars Academy, Malachi Jackson (who scored 22 points along with three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
