Seneca Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Kennedy Cavaliers 17-6 on Friday. The Screamin' Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Ian Bullie, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Max Awanohara, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.

Looking ahead, Seneca Valley will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Damascus at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennedy, they will take on Watkins Mill on Monday.
