Abby Farley, Penobscot Valley's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Monday. Penquis Valley had no answer to Farley as she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Farley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Farley's strong effort led Penobscot Valley over Penquis Valley and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Howlers are a perfect 9-0 against the Patriots going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
