Lake Washington is 6-0 against Hazen since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Last Friday, Lake Washington was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty, taking the game 74-67.
Meanwhile, Hazen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 81-56 defeat at the hands of Sammamish. While losing is never fun, Hazen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Sammamish is ranked 91st).
Lake Washington's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Hazen, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
