The Fortune Early College Panthers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They skirted past Rodriguez 64-62. The win was just what Fortune Early College needed coming off of a 70-38 loss in their prior contest.
Fortune Early College's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Omarion Davis, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Nahje Collins, who scored 13 points.
Fortune Early College's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Rodriguez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Fortune Early College will be home for the holidays to greet West Campus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in West Campus' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. Rodriguez and Palo Alto will round out the year against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Palo Alto presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rodriguez in California (Palo Alto is ranked 149th, while Rodriguez is ranked 391st).
