Dear Made His Presence Known in Quitman's 34-33 Defeat
Starting off the list is Quitman's Akylin Dear, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. He is becoming a predictor of Mendenhall's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
Mendenhall's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
