Marisela Bowie was the offensive standout of the match as she scored ten points along with nine rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Jasmine Valdez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Pojoaque Valley's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Manzano, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9.
Pojoaque Valley will head out on the road to square off against Hot Springs at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Manzano, they will be playing at home against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
