On Saturday, The Branson Bulls faced the Stuart Hall Knights in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The game between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Branson falling 44-26. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stuart Hall apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Branson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaden Sher, who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and Mo Jacoby who rushed for 26 yards and three touchdowns. Sher was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
Branson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Stuart Hall, the win was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Branson will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Tomales at 1:00 p.m. As for Stuart Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Calistoga at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Calistoga is on a three-game streak of home wins, Stuart Hall a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
