After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Redwood Christian, Mills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Harbor Pirates with a sharp 27-6 victory. The Vikings not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 20, 2024 (when they won 62-0).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brian Lourenco, who threw for 259 yards and three TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes. Leo Wasmuth was Lourenco's top target, picking up 133 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Mills didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Harbor to a completion percentage of just 40%. Given Lourenco's standout performance, it's clear the Pirates' secondary just wasn't on the same level.
