The Interlachen Rams will square off against the Matanzas Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Interlachen has three straight victories, Matanzas has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Interlachen made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Port, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Interlachen put the hurt on West Port with a sharp 12-2 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cason Turner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing Five bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
In other batting news, Devon Williams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Williams is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Garcia, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
Interlachen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Port only posted a batting average of .053.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Matanzas' offense. They lost 11-0 to St. Joseph Academy on Tuesday.
Interlachen's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Matanzas, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
