The Magee Trojans''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Seminary 16-15. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Magee also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2020.
Magee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremiah Cole led the charge by picking up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kendal Middleton also helped out by tossing the rock for 252 yards.
Magee's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Magee will be playing at home against Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Seminary, they will head out on the road to face off against West Marion at 9:55 p.m. on November 3rd. West Marion will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
