Quartz Hill is a perfect 10-0 against Eastside since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Quartz Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastside at 3:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Quartz Hill comes in on seven and Eastside on three.
Quartz Hill's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. Everything went their way against Palmdale as Quartz Hill made off with a 12-0 win. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Hailey Vong made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Quartz Hill got a massive performance out of Zoe Hart, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Rylee Christensen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1.
Quartz Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastside). They blew past Ridgeview 17-5 on Saturday. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Like Quartz Hill, Eastside also got a great game from a two-way player: Luz Navarro. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Navarro has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bethanie Jimenez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Ynestroza, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Quartz Hill's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Eastside, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Quartz Hill hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Eastside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Quartz Hill's way against Eastside when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Quartz Hill made off with a 12-2 victory. Does Quartz Hill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eastside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
