The Delta Eagles extended their postseason success on Friday against the Garrett Railroaders. Delta managed a 21-15 win over Garrett. The win was familiar territory for Delta who now have three in a row.
One reason for the win was Delta's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Nash Keesling and his two sacks.
Garrett's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Camren Ruble, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown. Ruble has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Garrett, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Delta will look to defend their home field on Friday against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 7:00 p.m. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Garrett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
