Adam Denkert Delivers Best Performance of Season
Kenesaw was led to victory by Adam Denkert, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Denkert's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.
This season, Denkert has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 63.1 receiving yards per game.

The victory (which was Axtell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Bergstrom and Axtell will head out on the road to take on Mullen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Jacob Halvorsen Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jacob Halvorsen posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Axtell's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
