After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Honey Grove, Tioga was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dodd City Hornets as they made off with an 18-3 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.
Tioga got a massive performance out of Austin Norwood, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Norwood has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-11-1 otherwise. Landon Bingham was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI.
Norwood wasn't the only one making solid contact: Tioga kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dodd City only managed four hits.
