Archimedean scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past LaProgresiva Presbyterian 56-11 on the road. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for Archimedean this season.
Joseph Vega was his usual excellent self, scoring 37 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was David Lopez-Lantigua, who scored eight points along with eight steals and five assists.
Archimedean's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archimedean will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Dolphins on February 1st. Downtown Doral will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
