Northwestern had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Spartanburg Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 39-7 win. The Trojans are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight dating back to last season.
Quay Mobley was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Kameron Vance also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.
