The Mount Calvary Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sheets Memorial Christian. Mount Calvary Christian has not had much luck with Sheets Memorial Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Sheets Memorial Christian was led to victory by Jude Howell and Finn Everhart. Howell scored 11 points along with nine steals and five rebounds, while Everhart scored 23 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Everhart grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Karter Dykes, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Mount Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oak Level Baptist Academy the next time they take the court. Sheets Memorial Christian will head out to face Oak Level Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mount Calvary Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
