The Des Moines Demons can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Springer 77-47 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Des Moines sure is getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Des Moines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Sumpter, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Sumpter hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Destry Sumpter was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Des Moines has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Springer, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cimarron the next time they take the court. Springer will host Cimarron at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Des Moines will head out to face them at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
