John Carroll Catholic is 0-4 against American Heritage since April of 2021 but things could change  on Tuesday. The John Carroll Catholic Rams will host the American Heritage Patriots  at 6:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (John Carroll Catholic 2.6, American Heritage 3.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
John Carroll Catholic barely beat Sebastian River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. John Carroll Catholic's pitchers stepped up to hand Sebastian River  an   11-0 shutout  on Friday. The  win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won eight in a row.

 Camrin Weeks and  Colt Miller dominated on the mound. Weeks  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits, while  Miller  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  Miller posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024.
 On the hitting side, John Carroll Catholic got a  massive  performance out of  Preston Sullivan, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Three bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave  Sullivan a new career-high in  stolen bases.  Taggert Cameron was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 John Carroll Catholic  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sebastian River only posted  an  OBP of  .263.
Meanwhile, American Heritage didn't have quite enough to beat North Broward Prep on Friday and fell  3-2. The  match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
American Heritage also got a good showing from  Talan Holiday, who   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. What's more,  Holiday gave up only zero  walks, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 At the plate, American Heritage saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Blayden Caballero, who  went 1-for-4 with one  RBI.
 American Heritage's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for John Carroll Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
 Tuesday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. John Carroll Catholic has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .457. However, it's not like American Heritage struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .450.
