Ider entered their tilt with Oakwood Academy on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They really took it to the Oakwood Academy Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-31 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Defeat or not, Oakwood Academy got some senior leadership from Charity Jarman and Mya Awoniyi. Jarman posted 15 points, while Awoniyi put up five points. Jarman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Ider's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Oakwood Academy, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Ider will head out on the road to face off against Pisgah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakwood Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Head at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
