In what's become a running theme this season, the Arrowhead Warhawks gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Oconomowoc at home to the tune of 60-33. Given Arrowhead's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Raccoons are ranked 84th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Arrowhead found their leader in underclassman Natlie Kussow, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Gilmore, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Arrowhead's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Oconomowoc, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
Arrowhead will head out on the road to take on the Lasers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kettle Moraine and the Warhawks are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Oconomowoc, they will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Catholic Memorial will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
