Mt. Pleasant dropped down to 7-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 27-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewis County Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 8-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
