It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cushman had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Somerset College Prepartory Academy South Patriots 66-38. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Cushman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fremgen Jackson, who posted 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least a third of Cushman's points. Rex Feldman was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Cushman's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-9. As for Somerset College Prepartory Academy South, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Cushman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-48 loss against Mater Bay Academy on the 30th. Somerset College Prepartory Academy South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
